Notting Hill is another Hollywood fairy tale, but this '99 famous movie is delightful one that can captured how love is simple yet complicated beautifully.
Both Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts are so breathtaking! What do you expect when those two true icons of RomCom movie appear in one frame???
The movie portrays the emotions beautifully, but what i like the most is the dialogue really well crafted and nicely executed.
It's hard to forget the memorable scene when Anna asked William at the bookstore. "Don't forget, I'm also a girl standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."
What a heartwarming line.
The affair between the bookseller William and the film star Anna might seem imaginative. O b v i o u s l y.
But somehow, i think all the casts can make a surreal story believeable succesfully. Well, I think Notting Hill is an adult movie with manners yet being "realistic" romantic. I hope they'll make sequel!
