MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING

At first, i think the movie just tell the story about a lady who realizes too late that she is in love. Then declares her feelings anyway to someone who’s no longer available and blablabla happy ending. But My Best Friend's Wedding has another thing.

This 1997 romcom has important lessons about life and love. The movie clearly send the message about taking things for granted and not always being able to get what we want.

It's fun to see Julia Roberts being a villain and her attemps to win over her old friend, Michael. Her narcissist act is terrifyingly good and smooth.

At one point the whole cast break into that memorable "I Say a Little Prayer for You" moment. Ah, i wish i could impersonate this scene at my future wedding with my whole family member 😂

For me, My Best Friend's Wedding is slightly hilarious yet lovely marveolus.

Oh ya, if you are single with hope and madly in love now, it would be very wise to remember what George said,

"Do you really love him, or is this just about winning?"
